We lost our winter lot for our beef cows this last year, still run a feedlot. I don't want to give up the pastures we have, has anyone been successful with buying bred cows in spring calving them out on pasture putting them with a bull and selling them bred in the fall? I will be weaning keeping the calves for our feedlot. Thanks
