Found this info. It was finally dry enough this afternoon to try some things in a small field close to home. I gradually changed some settings one at a time but couldn't seem to get it to react correctly. If it hit its target rate it shuts the valve quickly. Seems like it closes faster than it opens. Looks like it might actually be a 3" butterfly valve plumbed down to 2" plumbing. I don't know how It worked for several years with my Trimble 500. It seems like if it would react slow enough it should work. It is a valve with 4 wires. The tech used 3 wires to wire it up. I may have to end up getting an actual servo valve... I wish I had a camera on the valve so I could see what it was doing back there. |
