Good info...we have had 3 or 4 cows a year the last few years that turn up open at dry off so that's a pretty expensive miss. What type of SCR tages are you using? Sounds like they go in the ear? We have the collars, haven't bought any new ones for awhile, we re-use them, they're over $160 apiece.
