Last week Friday I worked the ground, and drilled the oats on Saturday.

Ground conditions were good but the surface dried fast.

I had hoped to start Friday but had to fix a flat on the drill. The only reason for doing so would have been to match the earliest date Dad and I had sewn oats.

Spread ten pounds of Medium red clover on top.

Now just add water. Would like to have a foot of that California snow.

A foot of that California snow……. On 38 degree soil. You ain’t no cattleman or live stocker.

Your wife will have your butt when you destroy the lawn pushing snow and spend a few days “sodding in” the gouge outs.

Edit: all in good fun! Smiley face emoji with ****
