Ky | The birds will like it, it heads out quickly is usually done in 60 -70 days It won't spread but you might get some volunteer plants next year if it's not harvested or if it's not all eaten by the birds and critters. Very drought resistant and easy to grow, if you are doing it for a food plot throw some buckwheat in there as well or sorghum
