| Schmid, here’s a pic of that area filled in. It was a LOT more work to do this way than just making the long runs, but- pretty sure it was about 1999-2000 when my grandfather had the terraces built here, and I’ve spent way too many hours since then in a skid loader pushing silt back uphill after heavy rains on saturated dirt. These runs were approximately 160 feet long, 30 foot spacing, 30” deep- trying to intercept as much water as possible and keep the dirt in place. Maybe I’ll check back in next time we get murdered by a week of thunderstorms and see how it looks.
