Our premium with farm bureau went from 10k to almost 22k. Farm buildings, machinery ect. We cancelled insurance on some of the buildings. I think we got premium down to about 17k by doing that. It is just crazy.

Honestly though, it sucks. Companies tried to kick the can down the road for far, far too long. In the end, they realized they were losing money hand over fist, and the only solution is large premium increases to try to change that bottom line. |
