Subject: RE: Has Dekalb taken a backseat to Channel?

Higginsville, MO
In this area, Channel has a horrible reputation. Most of the dealers couldn't sell product and quit because it sucked so bad. If you had great soil it might work but hit a tough spot and you just pissed your money away. Ive been told that only one or two numbers is being kept thats been in a Channel bag. The rest are from the regional brands that actually work. That right there tells me the crap Channel is. Im sick of these companies rolling everything into the crappiest brand they got and saying "you're going to love it". Im not buying anything in a Channel bag even if its the same number ive been buying, Lewis seed in my case. Its like saying a transvestite is a woman, just because it might look like it doesn't its right. When you have to subsidize and pay seed dealers to switch to Channel makes things awful fishy.
