I farm 600 acres and only have 20 acres of base…..
kind of screwed the livestock guys when they set the base acres as livestock guys had alfalfa/hay but that didnt count...so the grain farmers that planted 100% grain crops got all base acres...livestock guys were basically doing conservation of ground with rotation of hay but get penalized because of it
