SE IL | TM I can go along with most of your comments, government is incompetent on many levels for exactly the reasons you laid out. They are though a decently close estimate of many things and probably the best info we have even if it isn’t great. There are no doubt some sectors who seem to have a “purpose” (current jobs numbers?) but overall I hope it’s not the case. The thing that annoys me is all the blaming usda for reports and making prices go down, yet no credit for prices on the rise. You can’t have it both ways, if they manipulate prices to go down then they are just being nice letting prices go up? Bottom line we are in a commodity business and making up and down cycles is the nature of it always has been always will be. | |
