Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Since the output shown on the new device is a combination of the output setting from the Trimble and the device, there are many pairs that will produce the correct speed on the new device. I happen to like to use 57 Hz on the Trimble side since then the Speed Cal I had been using with my Raven will be close. I can then fine tune the result by changing the Raven Speed Cal slightly.
I would suggest the time honored method of trial & error. Enter a frequency in the Trimble and try different speed cal numbers in your other device until the speed shown on the new device agrees with the speed shown on the Trimble. |
