At the sale barn last week a baby beef calf was $1000. cull cows in good condition where $1.22 / lbs . So $1000 + $1500 = $2500. Bred heifers are $3300 range. So pick your poison. Keep in mind if you buy 10 cows most likely only 3 will be in your herd 3 years later.... Dennis
