Looks like a good start to the 2024 planting season!

We drilled oats at the WIU Organic Research farm on 3/2 (earliest ever!) and they were just starting to emerge today.

We planted Sumo oats @ 94.5 lbs/a (~ 1.1 million seeds/a).
The green plots next to where we drilled oats are a mix of cereal rye and crimson clover planted on 9/15/23 and slated for no-till soybeans in 2024.
