| Lucky you.
When you DO get it working, if you switch between products more than once a season, I HIGHLY recommend a gate height sensor.
You can get them from your New Leader dealer, locally for me, my AGCO dealer has them.
Probably near $120 by now, but it makes changing between products with different gate heights a BREEZE. I quickly learned with ours that even cranking the door up and back down, even accounting for slop in the hand jack, I still had a hard time chasing my calibration back to where it was supposed to be. It wires easily into the RSCM for the apron chain.
A gate height sensor AND a linear actuator to move the gate made switching between products then back again VERY accurate. Within a few % across our scale.
It also allowed me to run the gate fully open for lime, but shut it when going back to the loader to keep from leaving a bread crumb trail of lime through the field. | |
