Subject: Integra controlling Kinze Half Width...extra power needed???

NE Illinois
Hey Guys,
I've got a 2009 Kinze 3660 that I would like to control the half width clutches through an Integra. Previously I was controlling them through a greenstar rate controller (and doing hyd drive/seed monitoring through Cobalt) but would like to simplify things and run them through the Integra instead. I was told by a precision guy that I should consider T-ing in a lawnmower battery to the power/ground near the clutch module under the black cover (between bulk fill tanks) to help with the power load when the solenoids engage. Is this needed and if so would I instead be better off running power and ground back up to the tractor instead of installing a battery? A battery sounds like it could be a problem every year once I pull it out of the shed. Thanks, Doug
