Why did I seem so hurt about a revolutionary health breakthrough that you dismissed as a doomsday scenario? I don't have cancer or know someone close to me currently who does but good for them if there's a breakthrough on that front.

You couldn't be more wrong on Google glass. It was massively ahead of its time but since it was rather minimalistic people got freaked out at the idea of camera's taking pictures of them. Hence Apple putting out a monstrosity ten years later. Apple is not getting on board with the headset. It created a wave and then got shelved. Do you see a lot of people in public wearing a vision pro lately Just like the quest it collects dust. I'm well aware of the difference between vr and ar. VR is nothing revolutionary. A close range monitor with head tracking playing Mario is still VR.
