Happens almost every year. Order seed early to get varieties and size that you want in alignment with their availability.

But then in March when deliveries start, you get the call....."We can't get that size you ordered, XXXX (seed company name) has substituted another number or size....is that OK? Oh...and that substitute number is $20/unit more...."

I'm not real sure that early order assures you of anything except price.
