Subject: RE: What elements does Gypsum correct?

South Central Illinois
For some reason the recommendations that I have.
Do not correlate, in a one to one fashion, when I compare a sodium result on one farm to a very similar sodium result on another farm.
Something else in the soil sample results, is triggering a different recommendation.
From the video, the most out of whack element, is going to be corrected first.
At least that is the story.
I am trying to gather all the parameters before I dive off into this venture.
Pretty good chance that the Gypsum does its thing on the sodium and the magnesium at the same time.
I have known Fields where I have emergence and growth problems on one side and one end of a field and not so much on the other side or end of the same field.
I think, correcting the magnesium over abundance and the sodium over abundance would be the step in the right direction.
Trying to figure out how large and how frequent the Gypsum applications should be.
