Puckerville Dead center N.Y. | This is not 4th grade rec ball. Not all the players touch the ball equally. In order to make some of the plays she made last night you have to take chances. Some will not get through. She had a couple 3/4 court passes that were absolute dimes. As a player/scorer you have to take shots. Not all of them are going to be accurate. I have never seen a player, man or woman shoot %100. %50 is a very good percentage. What was most outstanding was Clark's savy way of getting her hands on balls defensively multiple times when lsu was making runs to get back into the game. She had a couple steals that turned into layups at the other end in a matter of seconds. Also a couple key blocks. You don't as a team average over 90 points tossing the ball around the perimeter hoping the clock runs out quicker with a 2 point lead. These gals play hard as a team and understand Clark is the leader and go to in key situations. That....is what it takes to be on a highly successful team. |
