| I suspect it’s due to Kim being a staunch Republican and Trump supporter, and she knows her players were gonna all take a kneel anyway, so the excuse she always leaves 12 minutes before tipoff for a final team meeting is to avoid the backlash associated with it. I watched the national anthem during the Northwestern game at NW, and fully 75% of the Wildcat team took a knee, fist to forehead. And they can’t figure out why average attendance for home game is 1,600. Pretty pathetic, and if one Hawk girl or guy ever takes a knee while I’m in attendance to a game, that will be the last game I attend while those students are still there. If nothing else, Iowa gals are patriotic. And pretty good ball players too. | |
