west texas | I feel that the cotton board is either too lazy or apathetic because they could easily create some really powerful advertisements against polyester pollution and body odor. The last ad campaign of any substance that they had was over 30 years ago with the “Fabric of our lives” slogan.
It’s amazing how hard it is buy 100% cotton. We especially struggle buying women’s clothes that don’t contain polyester. When shopping we will usually read 10 lady denim jean tags before finding one that doesn’t contain polyester.
But then again, it was a little ironic this morning as I watched the video while eating frozen fruit from a plastic bag, in a plastic bowl, drinking pex pipe made tea poured from a plastic pitcher into a plastic cup with plastic straw. | |
