SW Wisconsin | Most of March was actually really nice. I lost 3, 2 to cold and 1 that just didn't breathe, over the nasty bit 1 1/2 weeks ago. Fingers crossed, so far I haven't had any drop during this mess. 27/30 calves born so far either alive or left the farm that way and I haven't heard otherwise. Come to think of it a good bit of February wouldn't have been terrible calving weather, either.
Earth isn't really habitable, we're just living here anyway. | |
