Mendota illinois | Yes, I agree with the previous poster whatever vehicle you look at check the towing capacity. I know I’ve got a 21 foot camper that weighs empty 6500 pounds. I have a Ford escape and it’s would be foolish to try and hook it to that thing. It needs a full-size pick up truck. I looked at a Chevy Colorado pick up truck which is a midsize truck. I checked and its towing capacity is about 6000 pounds and I don’t want 6500 pounds pushing my pick up down the hill.
