The 2017 eclipse I recall reading here people traveling to see it and generally having nothing but good to say about it.
Now, no one seems to want anything to do with it, it's like an unpopular politician is coming to town.
Why?
I noticed that also.
Friend of mine saw the last one, had a good time. There was a light haze where he went, so while obviously the darkness was cool, he didn’t get the sharp contrast as it happened, but he had a good time. Sort of a Woodstock vibe with less drugs and sex, more spread out in a thousand mile narrow band of just cool hanging out and enjoying the afternoon. If I had the time I would have gone.
This time around on the various social media and opinion news outlets all we hear is negative negative negative, so I guess that theme gets echoed.
I think most of the negative I read here is aimed more at the social media negative Nellie’s, the eclipse is still kind of cool but the ‘reporting’ of it isn’t?
