Maybe it is.
I guess I only got the reduced labor idea from the developer, who showed us the equipment prototype. What he showed us was highly automated, with automatic watering, lighting, harvesting, and, I believe, some moving of the growing trays automatically. I can picture in my mind lots of other areas that would be labor intensive.
