Floyd County, Iowa | Photoshopping is a pretty big stretch, and has been an overused claim on NAT by a few in the past. I'm not making a guess about that scope, since I don't have one. Mine are all traditional, but even if he was looking through a "mis-mounted" scope, the rifle would still function and cycle.
Also, in the link you supplied to the Google search above, about that type of scope, there were some other pictures of similar scopes mounted the same as in your original link.
As far as someone putting their hand on a shoulder of a shooter, I wouldn't fire it with a hand on me, but as anyone that has ever shot a fully automatic firearm from the shoulder knows, muzzle climb is a real thing, and if you're not prepared, you will not let off the trigger fast enough to prevent it. | |
