Bremen, KS | I am a "recreational" flyer for now, i.e. not Part 107. It seemed implicit to me that for recreational flyers an RID module could be moved between different drones and that is probably why the HS RID comes with a velcro strip to attach it to the drone. I used Gorilla double-sided tape instead!
When I added the devices to the FAA database both were added separately and upon entry one has to select if the device has RID or not and then the form is loaded for which ever option is chosen. | |
