When I took my CC permit class the instructor (a state trooper) showed a video taken from body cams of Ohio state troopers of a shootout a couple of troopers had with a guy they had pulled over for a traffic stop. I can't remember the exact number of shots fired but a total of somewhere in the neighborhood of 50+ rounds were fired during the shootout. The distance between the troopers and the civilian was a little more than two car lengths. NO ONE WAS HIT! Not one single bullet from either shooter ever touched flesh. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it.
