Don’t miss the rush and stress of getting everything done in a timely manner or the stress of marketing crops and buying inputs in order to make a profit. Still enjoy helping the young farmer who rents my land, driving tractor and field cultivator in the spring and grain cart and semi truck in the fall. Couple weeks in the spring and 3-4 weeks in the fall. His equipment is a big upgrade from my worn out equipment. Got to learn how to drive a tractor with GPS for the 1st time 3 years ago, little bit of a learning curve, but really enjoy it now. | |
