Faunsdale, AL		Sampling/computing speed will likely cause it to miss displaying the max amperage unless it has a peak hold function.

If the motor starts normally with only the minimum 1 second delay, I would say everything is good.

Unless it has a soft start function, I expect it’s just a delay in the display catching up with the motor.
