Big dairy’s around us ( building there 5th one) ala carte everything, alfalfa, corn silage, choppers, mowers, mergers, hauling, packing tractors and manure application is all hired done. End processors flip the bill for everything, they manage and own the facility. I don’t understand it either but that’s how it works
