Depending on the height difference between the front tank and the rear tanks and where you have your fert pump located.. In your situation it's probably simplest to just use a 12V pump from the front tank to the rear tanks

In our situation, we have a 500g tank mounted just ahead of the twin seed tanks on a 16r 1775 JD planter and we use 2x250g saddle tanks on our tractor. Our ground drive pump is located on the rear of the planter, driven by the center, rear carrying tire.

We like to shut the saddle tanks off when we start a field, only using the 500g tank. This gets everything flowing nicely. After applying perhaps 150 gallons, we shut the planter tank off and suck out of the saddles. Usually this is never a problem, but if something unusual happens, we have a 3/4 full tank close and above our pump to easily re-prime it. We also use the 5-6g/A rate.
