004 is a tattoo/nickname of a popular SAV ai bull. We had a son from a local Angus producer. Our bull was a carrier of one of the first recognized genetic defects so we move on rather quickly to another herd bull
I attended an SAV sale in Fed'2010. Sat next to a rancher from NC Nebraska, Valentine area. Watch him bid on 5 bulls only to have his budget hold him off. I finally started talking to him when he gave up at $9000 on a bull. The ranch was pretty disappointed at lack of success.
