| That motorcycle trip was classic. All we heard from the NW was how bad it was on here. Then after realizing someone was going to take a tour and relay the situation back to here on what they saw, the stories started to change. “Well, around here things are pretty good, you really need to go 20 miles this way to see where it’s bad”. So we’d move the route a little bit. “Well, things look good from the road on that highway, really need to go another 20 miles”. Didn’t take long to connect the dots that conditions in fact weren’t that bad. Pretty sad that it took that to get certain posters to partially admit the conditions weren’t as bad as being portrayed. Learned a lot from that though. | |
