I have a decked in my shop truck. It is pretty dust tight, stays dry and sort of convenient. Tools have to stay in boxes, bags or whatnot because otherwise its a jumbled mess. And you give up a lot of utility hauling things. No 5th wheel pulling either.
Opinions on toolbox for pickup?
