We have had many through the years both gull wing and full lid. The full lid was always preferred especially when using the box daily. We no longer use mounted tool boxes since we started buying Rams with Ram boxes. Easy to access and hold a ton of stuff. Our guys no longer need a step stool to reach something in the center of the box.
