Non of those things will stop a power surge coming in on your 120 volt power source. That is what takes out most fencers.
True only for the fencer side, which I didn't point out, thinking most folks would have a surge protection on the 120 side if they have a tendency to have power surges.
I'll have to add the knot trick to my arsenal. Doesn't cost anything, heck I might already have some extension cords fixed up that way. LOL |
