It must be a "here" thing too. I have all the standards....Betty Crocker, Martha Stewart, Ina Garten, King Arthur (from the flour people), etc. plus alot of church editions of the ladies favorite recipes. But my go to FAVORITE is a local edition put out by a telephone cooperative here in Tennessee called "Cooking with Pioneers". It has multiple recipes for about everything. Bought one in the 80's and now out of print. I did find one at a yard sale a few years ago for my youngest daughter when she starts housekeeping. If my house were on fire, I would probably grab this cookbook on the way out, lol.
