Little River, TX | I really prefere a ham hock cooked in with the beans, for the salt and meat flavor. If and or when there is some meat in with the beans, it is usually what ever the cook had available.
For a few years the "place to eat" was at some casseno. Now it appears that the old favorite festurants are back on top.
We went to a wedding where there was 75 lbs of cooked rice on the table.
Everyone brought something to eat.
