WCIL | Went to the grocery store this AM. I had a full cart since I hadn't been to the store in over 2 weeks. I bring my own bags and always tell them to fill them full since weight does not affect me.
One of the bags was an insulated zippered bag. I put the cold and frozen foods together on the belt. There were no frozen foods in the insulated bag. (but she did put the 5# bag of potatoes, cantalope, and a head of lettuce) The frozen foods were mixed in with other foods in 4 different bags. I had a 30 min. drive home. By the time I found the ice cream it was very soft.
This was not one of the regular checkers/baggers. Guess I should call and complain. But, doesn't it make good common sense to start with the frozen foods in the insulated bag?
End of rant. Lunch is over so better go put more groceries away. Have a patriotic 4th. | |
