| I was wondering if any of you guys have an outboard motor from Evinrude? I have a friend who has a 115 hp evinrude e-tech. I think that is what he called it. It is 4 years old and has a problem that it has had since new. He can be trolling for awhile and if the engine quits and he tries to start it the motor just clicks. He has had it to two different mechanics and they put it on the computer and they can't find anything wrong. They test run it and it works just fine. He thought it was the starter or the switch and they are all right. I told him it might be a nuetral switch or something. He just keeps clicking the key and finally it takes off. He said he has had some close calls drifting into shore or by rocks. Any help will be appreciated.
