High Springs, Florida | Might be worth REPLACING the ignition key switch. What I would do is put a voltmeter at various spots along the wire to the starter when the trouble occurs. Myself, I've not had good luck with "outboard mechanics" and end up doing all the troubleshooting and repairs myself. Just diagnosed and repaired an overheating problem on my 4 stroke Mercury outboard a few months ago. | |
