Thumb of Michigan | As far as listing ones own property, I know a couple of broker/realtors who only list their property exclusively. They buy and sell, buy and rent, buy and hold. No reason why they shouldn't do such if that's what they want to do. I plan on getting my real estate license this fall, I've taken and passed the classes and test already. My licence has to hang in a brokers office, but I have no intention at the moment of listing or selling other peoples real estate. I guess that could always change, but in my case I doubt it right now. As mentioned, a realtor has to disclose up front that they are realtors. It has to be mentioned in any advertising as well. | |
