Subject: Delivery Room Tales?

ECIL
To parallel with MoJeepers post below, any stories about the delivery room or birth of a child? With our first the baby must have been in a hurry because my wife was in false labor a few times, once at 16 or 17 weeks. With three weeks left we went to the hospital for another round of false labor which lasted 48 hours and then turned into true labor for another 21 hours before giving birth. I had left her at the hospital with MIL and combined beans. At 9PM she called just as I was finishing up saying to get over there the baby's coming. I got to the hospital covered in bean dust from a full day of harvest and was told I had plenty of time to get cleaned up. After getting back from a shower the staff told me to camp out in the waiting room. They brought me in for the final 4 hours. Our daughter was born 3 weeks early.
