NC Iowa | i am encouraging my wife to look into it again. last time was about 4 years ago, the doc said she was too young, and replacement knee would wear out before she did, and then really sol. she is now 56, and knee is so bad, she can't function worth a dang with it. i told her to check with another doc, as by the time she is 'old enough' she might have other issues, and will have suffered with it for no benifit, as won't be able to use it anyway.
if we get obama care, they might not want to 'waste' money on anyone old. just take more advil or alieve, like she does now.
looking for knee replacement experiences and the age issues related to this. do replacement last better than a few years ago, and is this a concern?
thanks. | |
