Do a hard reset That will require you to reinstall everything, but it'll be worth it if it fixes it. Is there a chance you have a hung reset button? Perhaps try dabbing it around the reset button with a little alcohol. Yeah, a 3955 is an oler model, but should have some good left for a little while.
