Urbandale Ia, (but originally from SE IA) | At the Pioneer field day last week, DSM said they were going up $4/unit, but going to turn around and give an extra 2% discount for early commitment. He said commitment as in number of acres, not ordering specific varieties. Later kinda softened his $4 & backpedaled when he said, well most would be a $4 increse, some of the newer stuff could be a bit more, but it should average out to $4/unit across the lineup.
Can't recall any specific info on bean price, other than I asked about selling by seed count and he said they would still be price per unit, but a 2,800 seeds gaurantee, so if the seed was larger they would discoount it or give you extra seed or something, I guess. |
