I don't personally have any corn this year. All beans. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was not the only "odd man out" this year as Clay-all-over fit in the same situation. Just my standard rotation.

Corn around here has been drying down FAST the last week. I'm hearing moistures 12-16. From what I've seen, yields look decent. Combines starting to roll pretty good the last 2 days.

Our rain pretty much quit the end of June.

1 inch in May, 1 inch in July, little less than 1 inch in August with many weeks straight of 90+ temps.

June was the sole exception, 5 1/2 inches of rain in 2 seperate events, 2 days apart the third week.

Just didn't get the rain for pod fill in August we needed and way too much heat. Oh well, at least prices are good.
