Don, I was pretty sure that I'd read something in the Trimble manuals about the mounting angle and they wanted it no more than 15°. The hood where I mounted it was 20°. Thinking about it; tipping the antenna to an angle greater than the lowest elevation satellites would have some of the signals trying to enter the antenna from the underside or side of the antenna at certain points in their orbits. That can't be good.
