Subject: RE: Demand for brome hay?

Can't speak for Kansas, but the East Coast is switching to smooth brome in large part because Timothy has been so difficult to manage in recent years. It's terrific hay, but convincing E.C. horse owners it is the way to go is a challenge.

I know a guy that slid some Brome in on a Timothy customer, and once they realized it wasn't Timothy they only wanted Brome.

As far as package sizes, small squares bring the most money (and the most work).
